This book and its companion, BUSH DANCE! are designed to be used in conjunction with the CDs of the same name. This book is supplied with a single CD and BUSH DANCE! with two.

On the CD you will find separate tracks with music which corresponds in order to the dances contained in the associated book. Each set of tunes for this book is of sufficient duration to allow the steps to be done at least five times through. The CD also has voice-over instructions (calls) for the first time through each dance.

The dances in this manual are graded in general order of complexity, with the dances towards the front the easiest, those in the middle slightly more complex and the last few a little more challenging. The dances are generally suitable for ages 7 to adult (year 3 and above). Dances suitable for younger children can be found in our Rig-a-Jig-Jig books.

This book has been divided into two sections. The first section (pages 4 to 60) contains all the dance instructions, background notes and glossary for 20 different dances. The second section of the book (pages 6> to 89) contains the written music and guitar chords for all the tunes on the companion CD.
